Description
Carrot Clicker is an exponential clicker game inspired by titles like Cookie Clicker and Egg, Inc. It's been an ongoing collaborative project between a friend and I since it got started in 2021. I created a very simple clicker game to test my Javascript skills and the concept quickly evolved. The premise, gameplay, and characters all emerged from inside jokes as well as lore about a fictional religion my friend had created. Carrot Clicker is an admittedly flawed game that doesn't always follow best practices as far as web development goes, but it has taught me a lot about Javascript, and it was fun to create.
